Dr. Hafeezur Rahman

Dr. Hafeezur Rahman stands as a prominent Persian, Urdu and Islamic scholar, blending traditional wisdom with a modern perspective. Embracing Sufi teachings fervently, he has spent the last two decades advocating for interfaith harmony, pluralistic values and composite culture on both national and international platforms.
Dr. Rahman is the author of Rumi: The Guide and Philosopher and edited What is the Reality of Ghazwa e Hind? A prolific writer and speaker, he has contributed numerous articles to leading publications, addressing socially relevant themes such as religious tolerance and unity.
Dr. Rahman's global engagement includes participation in seminars and conferences worldwide, including sessions at UNESCO headquarters in Paris and conferences in Iran, Iraq, Turkey and Kyrgyzstan. He is a staunch advocate for reform in madarsa education, emphasising the importance of scientific and modern skills.
He is currently serving as the Convenor of the Khusro Foundation, New Delhi, a think-tank working to promote syncretic culture and national harmony through literature.
