Lieutenant General M U Nair, PVSM, AVSM, SM (Retd), former Signal Officer-in-Chief of the Indian Army and India’s third National Cyber Security Coordinator, is a strategic technology leader with over four decades of experience at the intersection of national security, digital transformation, cyber security, telecommunications, AI and emerging technologies. He currently advises government, academia and industry on technology policy and innovation, serves as a Visiting Faculty at IIT Gandhinagar and a board member and advisor to many companies, and is a widely published thought-leader on digital trust, sovereign AI, cyber resilience and future national security.
