Parviz Muhammadzoda

Dr. Parviz Muhammadzoda is a Doctor of Political Science and a professor in the Department of Diplomacy and Foreign Policy at Tajik National University. Born on 26 September 1987, he earned his degree in International Relations from Russian-Tajik (Slavonic) University in 2010. His career includes roles such as Assistant, Senior Lecturer, and Associate Professor at Tajik National University, and he served as Acting Head of the Department of Diplomacy and Foreign Policy from February to August 2017. Dr Parviz also held various positions within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan until 2024, culminating in his role as Deputy Head of the Department for Strategic Research. Parviz has published seven monographs and over 150 scientific articles, supervising six graduate students who earned their degrees in political science. He has received recognition, including a commemorative medal from the General Secretary of the SCO in 2021.
