Dr. Murari Lal Gaur

Dr. Murari Lal Gaur is the Vice Chancellor of Kaziranga University, Assam. He is hydrologist and watershed scientist with over 41 years of experience across ICAR and University Systems spanning 11 institutions and 7 states. His expertise also includes water resources, climate-smart agriculture, AI/IoT led digital transformation and NEP-aligned curriculum. Dr. Gaur has conceptualized and led DPRs and R&D portfolios, directed 40+ national projects with 12+ global collaborations (including the World Bank, FAO, CGIAR, and UNESCO), and founded the Faculty of Agricultural Engineering and Technology at Anand Agricultural University, Godhra. He has led major national projects and authored 100+ research papers and several books.
