Dr. Virendra M. Tiwari is Director & JC Bose National Fellow, CSIR-North East Institute of Science and Technology (CSIR-NEIST), India. and Vice President of the Indian National Science Academy. A leading Seismologist & Exploration Geophysicist, his research focuses on Earth sciences, geophysics and hydrology. He has published around 110 peer-reviewed papers and received prestigious honours including the JC Bose National Fellowship, National Mineral Award and MoES National Award of Excellence.
