Periasamy Kumaran

Shri Periasamy Kumaran belongs to the 1992 batch of the Indian Foreign Service. He has served in Cairo, Islamabad, Washington DC, Colombo. Shri Kumaran has served as India’s Ambassador to Qatar and High Commissioner to Singapore. In 2023, he assumed charge as Additional Secretary (Economic Relations & Development Partnership Administration) and has been Secretary (East) since 1^st April 2025.
