Rahul Pandey

Rahul Pandey is a PhD candidate at the Centre for East Asian Studies (China Division), School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University. He completed his MPhil at the same centre, as well as his BA (Honours) and a Master's degree in Political Science, both from the University of Delhi.

Rahul primarily focuses on Chinese domestic politics, especially the Chinese Communist Party. He has written for the Journal of Defence Studies, South China Morning Post (SCMP), Indian Express, SOAS (University of London) China Institute Blogs, The Diplomat, Modern Diplomacy, Dainik Jagran, Chintan-India Foundation, Vivekananda International Foundation (VIF), Russia International Affairs Council (RIAC), Organisation for Research on China and Asia (ORCA), Firstpost, Sahara and Daily Guardian.

Currently, he is working on two research papers which he aims to publish in Q1 journals.
