Tran My Hai Loc

Tran My Hai Loc is currently a Kautilya Fellow at the India Foundation, New Delhi and a Visiting Fellow at the College of International Affairs, Tamkang University, New Taipei as a MOFA Taiwan Fellow 2025. He is a Vietnamese researcher specializing in international affairs, with a focus on defense relations, India’s foreign policy, Indo-Pacific studies, geopolitics, and ASEAN issues. He has earlier served as a Community Welfare Assistant at the Consulate General of India in Ho Chi Minh City. His doctoral dissertation at the Faculty of International Studies, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, focuses on India's defense cooperation in the Indo-Pacific region. He has published numerous articles related to India in both domestic and international journals, offering insights into evolving regional security and the strategic competition among major powers. He also actively serves as an ad-hoc reviewer for Scopus-indexed journals.
