Siddhant Hira

Siddhant Hira is a Senior Research Associate at NatStrat. He focuses on Chinese aggression in the Indian Ocean Region and, India’s Special Forces, Intelligence and Foreign Policy.

He was previously the first Defence Correspondent for Outlook Business, with additional bylines in ABP Live (India), The Financial Express (India), The Diplomat (USA), the Observer Research Foundation (India), the Institute of Chinese Studies (India), Project O Five (Canada), OFCS.Report (Italy) and The Defence Archive (India). Siddhant has also discussed India-Taiwan Relations on Taiwanese national radio: Radio Taiwan International and Irregular Warfare in the Indo-Pacific for Think Deterrence’s (USA) podcast.

Siddhant holds a Master’s in National Security Studies from the Department of War Studies at King’s College London. He is also part of the Irregular Warfare Initiative's Team Grey Zone and Influence.
